Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Injury Claim Calculator website at injuryclaimcalculator.co.uk ("the Website") and our services. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Injury Claim Calculator website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Website or services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Services
Injury Claim Calculator provides the following services:
Compensation Calculator
Our free online compensation calculator provides estimated compensation ranges for personal injury claims based on Judicial College Guidelines and publicly available settlement data. These estimates are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Actual compensation amounts may differ significantly based on the individual circumstances of each case.
Solicitor Matching Service
We connect individuals who have suffered personal injuries with specialist solicitors from our panel of SRA-regulated law firms. Our service helps match you with a solicitor who specialises in your specific type of claim and operates on a No Win, No Fee basis.
Informational Content
Our website provides general information about personal injury claims, the claims process, and compensation guidelines. This content is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
3. No Win No Fee Disclaimers
When we refer to "No Win, No Fee" on our Website, this relates to Conditional Fee Agreements (CFAs) offered by our panel solicitors. Important points to understand:
- No Win, No Fee means you do not pay your solicitor's legal fees if your claim is unsuccessful
- If your claim succeeds, a success fee may be deducted from your compensation, capped at 25% of your general damages and past financial losses as per the Courts and Legal Services Act 1990
- You may need to take out After the Event (ATE) insurance to cover the other side's costs if your claim is unsuccessful; your solicitor will advise you on this
- The specific terms of your No Win, No Fee agreement are between you and your appointed solicitor
- Injury Claim Calculator does not charge you any fees for using our calculator or matching service
4. Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this Website constitutes legal advice. The compensation estimates provided by our calculator, the informational content on our pages, and any general guidance we offer are for educational and informational purposes only. They should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal advice. We strongly recommend that you seek independent legal advice from a qualified solicitor before making any decisions about your personal injury claim.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Injury Claim Calculator provides the Website and services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any compensation estimates, content, or information on our Website
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our Website or services
- Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Website shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for the actions, omissions, or advice of any solicitor to whom we refer you; they operate as independent legal practitioners
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
6. Your Obligations
When using our Website and services, you agree to:

Your continued use of the Website after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically for any updates.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
